Firstly, it is necessary that you attend an initial consultation with one of our physiotherapists. The physiotherapist will take your history, complete an objective examination and test the activation of your stabilising muscles.   From the information gathered at this consultation the physiotherapist can select the most appropriate form of treatment and exercise program for you.

Who teaches / lead the sessions?

All our physiotherapists are fully qualified and registered with the Australian Physiotherapy Registration Board. They have ‘hands on’ clinical experience treating musculoskeletal problems, and are trained in exercise prescription and rehabilitation. Manual techniques may be used within the session to assist exercises and small groups provide ample time for specific individual advice.

With any form of exercise consistency is the key. In the beginning your body is learning a lot of new information and your mind and body connection is being established. The optimal recommendation is 2-3 times per week. However, once a week on a very regular basis can also be beneficial combining it with other exercise.
